10% off. Your link carries a discount code tied to your account and it is applied automatically at checkout, so you are recommending something at a better price rather than asking for a favour.
45 days. When someone clicks your link we store your code in a first-party cookie (focusly_ref) on their device, and a purchase from that device within 45 days is credited to you. Attribution is last-touch: if they click another affiliate's link after yours, the newer code replaces yours. It also cannot survive someone clearing cookies or switching device between the click and the purchase.
A completed purchase — Lifetime Licence or Family Package — made within the 45-day window. Downloads and free trials earn nothing; only sales do.
By bank transfer through Stripe Connect, once you have completed Stripe's onboarding. Commission is held for 30 days after the sale, matching our refund window. After that it becomes eligible, and eligible balances over $50 are reviewed and sent in a monthly payout run — a person looks at each batch before any money moves, so it is not instant and not automatic. Under $50 the balance carries forward.
The commission goes back with the money. A full refund or a dispute cancels it; a partial refund reduces it pro rata, because the rule is 20% of what the customer paid and kept. The 30-day hold catches most of this before you are paid. Card disputes can arrive months later, though — if the commission has already been paid to you, it becomes a negative balance on your account and is netted against your next payouts. We never invoice you for it.
No. Self-referral is not eligible: if the buyer's email matches your affiliate account, the commission is cancelled. You are very welcome to buy Focusly — just not for the commission.
No cap. Refer 1 sale or 1,000 — 20% applies to all of them.
Self-referral, spam, misrepresenting Focusly or your relationship with us, bidding on our brand terms in paid search, and posting your discount code on coupon and cashback sites. We may suspend an account and cancel commission where we find abuse. The full list is in the program terms.
You are an independent contractor and responsible for your own taxes. Stripe collects your tax form (W-9, or W-8BEN if you are outside the US) during onboarding, and we or Stripe may issue a 1099-NEC where US reporting thresholds are met.
