- Licence checks are now cryptographically signed, so only Focusly's own servers can confirm a licence
- Fixed: the offline grace period could be reset by clearing app data, granting repeated access without a licence - Offline use now requires having checked in with the server at least once
- Starting a free trial now asks for your email and sends you a key, so your trial follows you rather than the download - Fixed: a new Mac is no longer told its trial has expired before it has started one
- The licence tab now shows what you hold: "Licensed — 1 of 2 Macs activated", or the days left on a free trial - Support address updated throughout the licence screens
- Fixed: the Activate button on the licence screen no longer cuts off its label - Fixed: the whole Activate button is now clickable, not just the text inside it
- Fixed: Focusly now checks for updates correctly. Earlier builds reported their version wrongly and concluded they were always up to date, so they never offered an update - Fixed: the free trial now actually starts on a fresh install - Fixed: the trial and licence screen now appears when it should, instead of the app opening unrestricted - Fixed: the licence screen updates as soon as the server responds, rather than showing whatever it saw at launch
Focusly 0.9.12 - Fixed: the free trial now actually starts. On a fresh install the app never registered a trial, so it never knew whether it was licensed - Fixed: the trial and licence screen now appears when it should. It was attached to a view the app never showed, so every direct download ran unrestricted - Fixed: the licence screen now updates as soon as the server answers, instead of showing whatever it saw at launch
- Detach Focusly into a movable, resizable window, or keep it as a menu bar panel — whichever you prefer, and it remembers your choice - The timer detaches too, so it stays on screen while the panel is hidden - One-click connectors for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, letting an AI assistant read and adjust your schedule - Focusly now speaks nine more languages: French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (BR), Dutch, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese - A language picker in Settings, so you can choose one regardless of your system language - Fixed: the app now reports its own version correctly, so automatic update checks work as intended - Fixed: the activation message quoted a fixed device limit instead of your licence's actual one
